City Loft
Charlestown, MA

A graphic designer and a sculptor owned a 4,500 SF, two story car dealershop in Charlestown now used as an artist studio and offices. They consolidated living/work spaces to provide ample space for his sculpture studio, her graphics office, indoor parking and generous living space. Both share a great love of cooking/entertaining. The living areas needed an open concept with the kitchen as the central focus. A 1,200 SF rooftop terrace was designed to enjoy the great city views with a large outside herb garden entertaining/dining space.
